Returning an item by mail

I have sent the item with order number 18-1495-31219 to the buyer's address provided.
The shipment was returned by the post office with the note "Recipient/company cannot be found at the address provided, NZ. Day Month 912510100 112 5/8 - returned. I would like to ask the buyer to check the address provided and, if there is an error, to provide the correct one so that I can send the book.

And why don't you do that? We in the public eBay forum can't know whether there's something wrong with the buyer's address.
Just message the buyer and ask. It's also quite possible that the shipping provider was at fault.
