Request an invoice for items purchased more than 90 days ago
Hello, I’d like to request an invoice from a buyer for a purchase that was made more than 90 days ago. I contacted the buyer and he wrote to me in the chat that I should send him my email address. But you can’t send addresses in the eBay chat. What can I do now? The eBay chat bot is absolutely useless and, for my January purchase, it seems I can’t request an invoice at the click of a button either.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou can't request an invoice at eBay at the push of a button! And from a buyer like the one you describe, you won't receive an invoice either! Only the sellers are responsible for invoices, and no one else.
However, if you bought with this account, there is no entitlement to an invoice because it is a private account.
Print out the details of the purchase as proof.
If the seller still wants to issue you an invoice, then it can only be a commercial seller, and they must have a legal notice where, among other things, you can also find an email address and a phone number. How about letting us know your email address this way?

OP3 weeks agoInvoices must always be issued by a commercial seller, regardless of whether the buyer has a commercial account. But thanks for the tip about the legal notice. I wrote and have already received an invoice.
Many thanks
