Shoe sale - like new - to private buyer

Hello, I sold Brooks running shoes privately. I received 2 price offers from the buyer. I rejected one because it was too low, and accepted the second. According to eBay, that means a sale was completed. Now the buyer wants to cancel the purchase because they “bought by mistake”.
I don’t want to approve the cancellation because I don’t see the “accidental purchase,” since there were 2 price offers.
What do you think and how would you proceed? I can only approve or reject the cancellation. I can’t send the seller any information in advance.

Mentor2 months agoHey, @midlifeline save yourself time and hassle, grant him the cancellation and then immediately put such candidates on your bidder block list.

if you don't want to cancel, you shouldn't respond to the cancellation request, neither accept something you don't want anyway nor reject it! Because only then can the purchase be canceled after 4 days due to non-payment on your part and the guy gets his non-payer note.
Unfortunately there's nothing more that can be done, at least not through / on eBay.

Mentor2 months agoYes, you do get one. And with 2 strikes, he can no longer bid and buy from most sellers, depending on their settings.
