For a return, not at all. An eBay employee would have to take care of that for you. Or just send the seller a message with the tracking number. That’s usually enough too.
For sales, you enter the tracking number under the Purchase details.

MentorAug 10, 2026 at 12:27 PMIf DHL is shown, Hermes didn't take it. That should be explicitly checked before saving. I've never had the problem; when I type He or Her, Hermes appears automatically - click it and save with the number.
You can't change that now anymore, but you can enter another number with the correct parcel service.
