Smart Protection / 3ants reports genuine goods as counterfeit – any other affected parties?

I’d like to start a discussion here because over the last few weeks we’ve increasingly been seeing problems with so-called "counterfeit reports" from Smart Protection and 3ants. 👀
As far as we currently know, both companies belong to the same corporate group and appear on eBay and also on **bleep** as "Brand Protection" service providers.
In several cases, genuine goods were reported as "counterfeit" without any prior contact or any inspection of the products taking place. The goods always come from regular EU sources and are clearly authentic. Nevertheless, the report was submitted automatically and the listing was immediately blocked by eBay. ❌
We’ve now spoken with a few other sellers, both commercial merchants and private sellers, and it seems that Smart Protection / 3ants submit such reports very regularly, regardless of whether they are actually counterfeits or not.
My questions for the community:
- Have genuine goods also been reported by Smart Protection or 3ants as "counterfeit" in your case?
- Does this also affect different product categories for you, or specifically dietary supplements/cosmetics/network marketing products?
- How did you deal with it?
- Were there any successful appeals?

It would be helpful if we could collect as many affected people as possible in order to get a clearer picture of the situation.
