That's what makes eBay really fun!
You know what’s puke-worthy? If I end an auction early, I have to pay a 7 euro "penalty fee," but if I sell an item and for the 2nd time now a buyer just doesn’t pay, that’s okay, right?

The following applies to items with a reserve price:
Private sellers are charged a fee of 5% of the highest bid, but no more than EUR 20.00. Alternatively, you can sell the item to the highest bidder at any time.

Mentor1 month agoHi @dermoppedfahrer
take a look here to find out when you’re allowed to end auctions early and when you’re not. I’d be surprised if a fixed amount of € 7.00 were charged; that would be new to me and probably an individual decision by eBay after a warning.

Mentor1 month agoNeither of those is okay, and if you end auctions early and it apparently isn’t the first time, then that’s what it costs.
And if buyers don’t pay, you cancel after 4 days for non-payment and there’s a note on the user, and from 2 notes onward, for most sellers it’s game over for bidding and buying. In addition, you put these people on the blocked list.
