Buy Now inactive with a bid???

Hey everyone,I'm new here and have listed items for auction AND buy it now....I don't understand why the "buy it now" is no longer active once there's a bid???Several people have already asked me whether I'd also sell "now"...what did I do wrong???

The Buy It Now price only applies until someone places a bid on the item or the reserve price has been reached.

This rule is precisely what makes bidding possible, and you still have more items that are being bid on.

And yes, every bid is legally binding.

If you don't want that, then just list it with a fixed price for Buy It Now

Once there’s a bid on it, the item is of course no longer available as a Buy It Now item, since the bidder / highest bidder has a claim to the item!
