Nuisance bidders, bidding and not paying. No sanctions easy to apply.
Good day
I'm probably writing the x-th post on this topic right now.
I keep getting offers from scammers, with accounts that were created recently, who bid on items and then don't pay and also don't respond.
What can you do, I'm now trying to sell some items for the 4th time.

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @xforce-2013 there’s absolutely no point in rating a non-payer green and thereby boosting their profile.
Besides, that’s forbidden according to eBay guidelines!
For Buy It Now items, the alternative would be to activate "immediate payment," but unfortunately that doesn’t apply to auctions.
So: 4 days after purchase (4x24 hours), report an unpaid item so the buyer gets a record.

Block the buyer from making further purchases from you.

Then you can make settings in the eBay account so that bidders with xx warnings for non-payment are blocked by you from the outset.

Under this option you can track which bidders weren’t successful with their bids

Mentor3 weeks agoUsers or sellers have never been able to apply for sanctions against other members. Where would that lead us?
You cancel after 4 days because of non-payment, and the non-payers get their note. And that’s the sanction.
