Status "delivered" is missing, even though the package has long since been with the buyer
Summary: $constanze reported that despite the successful delivery of her package on 14/09/26, the status "delivered" is not being shown on eBay. The tracking shows the delivery correctly, and the buyer has already responded positively. bootyooty explained that buyers cannot confirm the status and asked for the correctly stored tracking number. anna_s@ebay offered to update the shipping details on eBay, after which $constanze asked for this update. It appears to be a technical problem that eBay needs to fix.
Hello,
I sold two items in one order.
First I could no longer delete a label I had created by mistake. Well, Ebay fixed that. I got the money for the label back.
Then I bought a label from Hermes and entered the new tracking number. The tracking also works when you click on the number.
The package was already delivered on 14.09.26. Everything was all good, I thought.
But now the order isn’t being marked as "delivered". It says that the delivery is "taking longer than expected". Great! It already arrived a week ago and the buyer has already responded positively.
What can I do to finally set the status to "delivered"? Or does the buyer have to do that?

Buyers can't confirm anything; if they want, they can leave a rating.
Did you first enter the wrong tracking number and then later enter the correct one for both items?

OP3 weeks agoI had first created a DHL label on Ebay, which turned out to be too small for the package. Couldn’t cancel it, but after making a request, it was canceled by Ebay. Bought a shipping label externally from Hermes and entered the tracking ID . in the order. So far, so good. Tracking works too. But somehow the status "delivered" isn’t coming through to Ebay.
