Add tax number to the eBay shop

Dear community,
I just opened a shop on eBay. Now I still need to add the tax number. But every time I want to add the tax number, it says that this tax number cannot currently be added. What is the reason for that? How can I add my tax number?

What you’re supposed to provide is probably your VAT ID, and it starts with DE. As far as I know, the DE is already prefilled.

And what about your legally required business details?

I see: No returns? As a business seller, that’s not possible at all.

Cancellation policy?

Terms and conditions?

Privacy policy?

Registered with LUCID?

Without these details, you’re highly at risk of receiving a warning letter.
