Close the streak case or not!?

Hello everyone,I received an item that is defective. The Asian seller is offering to refund me 90%, but he wants me to close the case first. Should I do it, or insist that he refunds first!?Thanks and kind regards

Very important, please do not close the return, as @perfect-sally wrote to you. Closed cases cannot be reopened and then you no longer have buyer protection.

I’ve gladly messaged your seller and let them know that they should refund and that the return should not be closed.

Under no circumstances close it, because then you'll have lost everything and won't be able to open any more! Please name the item number and an eBay employee will take a look and get back here. @selina_b@ebay would you be so kind? Thank you very much
