Tax free refund
Hi. I purchased a product from Ebay. As im staying temporaly in Germany, leaving in a few weeks, I asked the seller to issue an invoice with data required for tax free refund or an special tax form without any satisfactory response (he is a comercial seller, not private one). I tried to contact to Ebay customer service but the supposed answer within 24-48 hours never arrived. Is there any way to solve this problem? I only have the common invoice but it is not useful for tax refund.

Mentor1 month agoThe seller doesn’t even have to comply with that, and if you don’t have a business account, the seller actually doesn’t have to issue an invoice at all.
If there is still an invoice, then you have to take care of any tax-free amounts yourself, not the seller.
