Hello, 10 days ago I received an item from a seller from the USA.It is a (for this platform) very rare computer game with correspondingly high value.The package arrived to me undamaged and the red eBay packing tape was intact too – so it was not opened by customs. However, inside the package, the bubble wrap that had been wrapped around the item was cut, and the item itself was also damaged by a box cutter(?). Since these damages are not visible in the seller's photos, the item must have been damaged during repackaging by "eBay International Shipping". I contacted the seller and he suggested I open a return request (as also described by @verena@ebay in this post). I did this last week and spoke to customer service, since I would basically like to keep the game and only receive compensation for the loss in value that occurred.Customer service understood my problem and told me on the phone that the case would be forwarded to the department responsible for international shipping and that I would receive a response within 2 days. Since no reply came, towards the end of last week I described my case again via the contact form and received the following message: "Your message has been sent to eBay Customer Service. You will receive a response within the next 24 - 48 hours." Unfortunately I have not received a reply, so two days ago I called customer service again and got the same answer as a week earlier: the case would be forwarded to the responsible department and I would receive a response within 1-2 days.Unfortunately I am still waiting for a response from eBay and don't know what else I can do...
