Tips and experiences for correcting reviews on eBay
Summary: jalinju is seeking advice on changing or withdrawing a review he left as a buyer on eBay. perfect-sally explains that positive reviews cannot be changed and negative ones only at the seller’s request. jalinju plans to ask the seller to make such a request, since neither of them is responsible for the confusing situation. It is mentioned that sellers who have already had reviews revised should be familiar with the process. jalinju asks how to tell whether a seller has already had reviews revised.
Hello everyone!
I'm facing a small dilemma. I recently left feedback as a buyer, and I'd now like to correct or withdraw it. Maybe some of you have had similar experiences, or you're experts in this area and can give me a few tips.
My questions for you are:
Have you ever changed buyer feedback? If so, how did you do it?
Are there any specific procedures or tips one should know?
How did the sellers react to these changes?
Do you generally have any recommendations on how to use eBay's feedback system positively?
I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences and advice!

Mentor3 weeks agoPositive feedback cannot be changed; they are only deleted by eBay if they violate policies.
If you want to change a negative rating, the seller can send you a request for feedback revision, provided they haven't already used up too many of these requests.

OP3 weeks agoThanks! I would like to either completely withdraw a negative review from me as a buyer or change it to a positive review - because neither the seller nor I are responsible for this mess. I will advise the seller to send me a request for a review change.

Mentor3 weeks agoOk. Your seller should know how to do that because he already has edited reviews.
