Inappropriate behavior by an eBay employee
Summary: happyfox13 reports a disappointing experience with an unfriendly employee in eBay customer service and is looking for ways to make a complaint in writing. Another participant, bootyooty, suggests sending the complaint by post or email to the address listed in eBay’s legal notice, since the internal complaint management system is only accessible to business users. happyfox13 expresses doubts about how effective this approach will be, as it seems that eBay is deliberately forgoing a complaint management system for private sellers.
Hello everyone!
My experience with eBay customer service has been very positive so far - friendly employees who help quickly and competently. Unfortunately, today’s phone call was nowhere near that! I would like to complain about a rude and aggressive employee from eBay customer service. Where can I voice my concern (in writing)?
The AI on the eBay site is no help. And the internet does offer numerous suggestions, but none of them fit my concern.
Can anyone help me here?
Is there a complaints management at eBay for >private customers<, who want to complain about the inappropriate behavior of an eBay employee?

You actually have to send your complaint by post or by email, all contact details are listed in the eBay legal notice.

@bootyooty Thanks for your reply.
In fact, I have already considered writing a letter to the address listed in the legal notice (in Kleinmachnow). Whether that would be effective is the question. My gut feeling tells me that my complaint at eBay either ends up in the trash or disappears into the void. An official complaint management system for private sellers would be helpful. Presumably eBay deliberately forgoes that in order to save money and staff. That way, the rude, incompetent eBay employee enjoys complete impunity and will continue to damage the company's (good) reputation without punishment.
