The seller does not deliver, does not respond, and refuses to cancel the purchase. I then wanted to write to the email address listed in the legal notice and assert my right of withdrawal, but the email address does not exist, and the phone number leads to an anonymous voicemail box.I reported it to eBay 2 times. Unfortunately, I have to select some category that eBay, in its infinite wisdom, provides, but there is no violation of § 5 TMG (I would even claim intent).I then wrote it in the text, in full sentences! That is too much for the staff at eBay to handle, which they do not admit, of course. In any case, they cannot identify any violation.As the platform operator, they are of course obliged to investigate such matters. Whether they have the competence or the resources to do so is none of my concern and not my problem as the buyer. My question now: where and how do I make a real fuss about this? A platform that does not monitor sellers and tolerates such blatant violations probably needs a nudge toward respectability.ThanksTom
