Different fee calculation for Business & Industry category
Summary: allesgastrogmbh asks why different selling fees are charged for a product in the Business & Industry category. petersmodellbahnstuebchen suggests that the service status could be affecting the calculation. allesgastrogmbh is surprised by this possible connection, since their service status is 'above average'.
Hello,
can someone tell me why the sales fees for one and the same product in the Business & Industry category are calculated for orders sometimes with
"Variable percentage · Business & Industry category (Rate: 14%)" and other times with
"Variable percentage · Business & Industry category (Rate for €0.00 - €990.00: 12.0%, Rate for €990.01+: 3.0%)"?
At an item price of €2,596.89, that comes to €433.18 in fees for 1. and €199.28 for 2.

Mentor3 weeks agoHi @allesgastrogmbh
could it be that the different calculation of the sales commission is related to your service status?

thank you very much for your quick response. I didn’t even know that sales commissions can be calculated depending on the service status. However, this is still "Above average".

Mentor3 weeks agoHi @allesgastrogmbh
the fees depend not only on the service status, but also on the service statistics.
You can read the specifics here:

Maybe you’ll find what you’re looking for here. But maybe the lovely @nina@ebay can also give you more info, thanks Nina. ❤️
