I sold an item for one euro, and in the listing I clearly wrote that I cannot assume any liability/warranty for loss in transit with uninsured shipping. The buyer claims not to have received the item; I photographed the shipping envelope with the recipient address and stamps before sending it and sent the photo to the buyer. Ebay has now decided that I must refund the purchase amount plus postage costs and has deducted it straight from my balance. After receiving the credit, the buyer also left me a negative review! I ship uninsured very often... am I now suddenly the only one bearing the risk? I also often offer insured shipping, then buyers can decide...
