Seller hasn't updated the tracking number - eBay customer service is no help
Summary: podb95 ordered a Star Wars C3PO figure from Turkey in two boxes in March. The seller provided a false tracking number and did not update it after the production time was delayed. One of the boxes eventually arrived, the other was lost, and since the purchase is over 90 days old, eBay considers the case closed. perfect-sally recommended contacting the payment service provider, since eBay is not responsible for updating tracking numbers.
I ordered a larger figure from Turkey in March. Star Wars C3PO. 2 boxes.
The seller provided a wrong tracking number; since the boxes were shipped later because of a longer production time for the figure, the tracking number changed.
According to the old tracking number, nothing has arrived for me either. It only goes as far as label created.
The new tracking number was not updated by ebay - according to the seller.
Now one of the boxes arrived on 26.6.26, the other has been lost.
According to ebay, the purchase was more than 90 days ago and is therefore no longer relevant for ebay.
What can be done?
Inquiries by email are answered by ebay without any help.
The seller is no longer responding.

The seller kind of took you for a ride there.
A tracking number gets entered and the seller thinks that means "everything's fine" and they're off the hook.
As @perfect-sally , contact the payment provider.
Good luck.

And it’s not ebay that updates tracking numbers, but the seller just enters another number.
