I bid €51 for an item. I wanted to pay for it, but I couldn’t because the seller immediately canceled the purchase.Soon after, the identical item was back online under another account with a starting price of €100. However, the pictures were still the same.I confronted the seller about the fact that we have a legally binding contract and that his approach is not entirely above board legally.He came up with flimsy excuses, saying that something in the description hadn’t been correct and that there was supposedly also some damage.I didn’t go along with that. In the end, he backed down and deleted the new listing again.His suggestion was to relist the item at a totally inflated price (with the original account), and then I should send an offer, which he would accept.What’s the best way for me to proceed here?Send an offer and buy the item?Or should he sell the item to me under the old auction? If so: How does that work?Thanks in advance.PS: He seems to be doing the same thing in parallel with another item too.
