Seller blocks me after a neutral review
I wanted to bid on an item yesterday, but got the notice that bidding was not possible.
I suspect the seller has blocked me because I previously gave him a Neutral! rating due to excessive shipping costs.
Oh well, but then you might as well leave ratings out if it leads to sanctions.
I think neutral is not negative and should give people something to think about.
Or just go with positive only, and everyone’s happy.

The packaging doesn't grow on trees 🌳 or on bushes, it has to be bought.
Hm, and if you're not satisfied, you buy from the seller again.

I don’t see any neutral rating in your account because of excessive shipping costs.
Btw. sellers don’t charge postage costs, but shipping costs. These include, in addition to the actual postage, among other things, Ebay fees, VAT and disposal costs, which a seller must regularly remit with every sale.
So I can understand it when a seller responds to such a rating with a block. On top of that, none of us knows what communication between you two may have already taken place in the past.

Mentor1 week agoDo you maybe think sellers actually like neutral reviews? With that, you’d have ended up on most sellers’ blocklists.
And on the other hand, why would you want to buy from a seller again when you were so unhappy with them?
Luckily, it’s up to each seller to decide for themselves who can buy from them and who can’t.
And after your post here, you’ll probably end up on more blocklists when people look at your review history. Some of the reviews also violate basic principles and could have been deleted if the seller had complained to eBay.
