Seller account cannot be set up

Question

I want to sell an item on eBay.

When listing it, the message appears that I have to set up a seller account. However, the following error occurs during setup:

Unfortunately, this application is not working properly right now.

Please try again later.

I can't get any further. Please help me unlock the seller account.

many thanks for your contribution.

So far I can’t see any seller account, but you have already stored a VAT identification number and it is not valid.

I recommend that you delete the cookies and caches once and then start again from scratch. Please first go through the details you have already entered, such as name and addresses.

If you still receive the error message after restarting, please send us a screenshot and let us know whether you want to edit your data using a mobile phone or a PC.
