Sale canceled
Hello,
I bid on an item very cheaply on Tuesday (about 50% of the average price on eBay). Two hours later, the seller canceled the purchase and claimed the item was damaged. I then asked for photos of the damaged item, but he is no longer responding. Is he allowed to just do that?

OP1 month agoItem number is 117280921674. And yes, it was paid via PayPal about 1 minute after the auction!

even if the whole thing has a bad taste to it, a seller can still cancel a purchase if the item sold is no longer available.
However, this has a direct effect on their seller status:
