Sale, return, and refund of an "Auto, Motor & Sport" badge.
I sold a replica plaque "Auto, Motor & Sport". The buyer was not in agreement with that. So I offered him a return and a refund of the purchase price and refunded it. The buyer then informed me that, according to eBay, he is allowed to keep the plaque or that he would have disposed of the plaque.
Hereby I ask eBay to look into the matter and take appropriate measures.
Kind regards

Mentor1 month agoHello @roadsterstettin ,
Thank you very much for your post!
You offered your buyer a partial refund within the return request. Partial refunds are there to prevent returns and instead offer buyers the item at a lower price so they keep the respective item despite the reported issues. By offering the partial refund, you simultaneously waived the return, and this was communicated to the buyer through our automatic email confirming the partial refund. You are also informed about this during the process.
I recommend familiarizing yourself with our return process so that something like this doesn’t happen again.
Thanks for the tag, @voli-maus ! ❤
Best regards

Mentor1 month agoHello @roadsterstettin ,
the lovely @verena@ebay will take a look at this.
The buyer should have used the return label you provided and sent the item back to you.
They are not allowed to dispose of the item.
