Hello everyone,
I hope someone here can help me. I’ve now tried to set up shipping conditions for my listings. In one shipping condition, I later added a shipping service, so that 1x insured parcel shipping and 1x uninsured small parcel are shown. Of course, as the seller I can see that there are two options set up here, but how does it work for a buyer when purchasing: Can they choose which shipping they want when completing the purchase? Has anyone here already had any experience with this?

as already written to you here, the buyer can of course choose between the shipping options listed on the offer.
To make insured shipping via DHL parcel more attractive for potential buyers, however, you should offer combined shipping. But when I look at one of your items, the following appears:

But when I look in the settings it says "Every identical item" here. That’s strange. Because I always only have one of each item. It’s also annoying if someone buys two items and then the shipping costs are higher.

I agree with you, it’s a bit odd in terms of handling.
But the field "Each identical item" only refers to additional items from the same listing.
If other listings are to be included with the flat shipping rate, you need to store a rule for combined shipping in the shipping settings
You then need to assign this rule to your shipping policy:
Important for all entries: if € 0,00 doesn’t work, then use € 0.00, since this is an American platform. 😒

Mentor3 weeks agoI'd only say this: NEVER ship without tracking if you don't want to lose your money and goods and lose your seller protection.

OP3 weeks ago · EditedLately I’ve been getting questions more often about shipping costs. They’re said to be too high. Some are willing to take the risk with uninsured shipping. People even ask for parcel shipping or letter mail (Maxi). But I immediately said here that, due to bad experiences, I no longer want to offer that.
As a rule, I usually go with a parcel up to 5 kg. I don’t really do online postage.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou should rethink and frank online! At DHL there’s the 2 kg parcel with tracking, and at Hermes there’s also a selection.
But if you ship everything as a 5 kg parcel, honestly that would be way too expensive for me as a buyer too.
And with shipping without tracking, on eBay the risk is always on you and not the buyer. If they say it never arrived, then you have to refund it or eBay takes care of it and you get a defect on your account.

OP3 weeks agoWell, maybe I should do that. But that doesn’t answer my question. From the buyer’s point of view: If there are two shipping options, e.g. DHL and Hermes, can the buyer then choose?
