Shipping stamps via SpeedPAK failed, nn Orange Connex is sending me an invoice
Summary: lammersbriefmarken shared an issue with using SpeedPak for shipping stamps, as advised by an online marketplace. Their stamps from 1952 were delayed in a German warehouse and ultimately rejected, leading to a refund for the buyer and the return of the items. Now, a logistics company, Orange Connex, demands return shipping costs, citing a list of prohibited items, which includes stamps, that lammersbriefmarken claims they never saw. Additionally, they mention problems with the invoice's lack of account details and seek advice from others. voli-maus confirmed that stamps cannot be sent through this service.
I only sell stamps. eBay asked me to try SpeedPak for the USA and UK. I did: result: a letter from 1952 with good postage sat in the German shipping warehouse for about 3 weeks, then was marked as "failed inspection," the customer got their money back from eBay and I got the item back. Now Orange Connex wants me to pay the return shipping costs and refers to a ridiculously long prohibited items list that I never saw. Besides explosives, drugs, etc., it also lists stamps. For whatever reason.
The invoice from Orange Connex looks pieced together, and they managed not to include any account number at all.

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @lammersbriefmarken ,

OP3 weeks agoYes, thanks, I understood that. I wanted to give eBay the chance to explain this approach a bit. I’m being called by eBay and they’re actively offering me SpeedPak, and now stamps, my only product, are on the list of prohibited items. No notice whatsoever, no block in eBay when selecting shipping, no accommodation on eBay’s part, the hotline says it’s not responsible. And then invoices from Orange Connex that you could mistake for fake ones, without an account number. I’ve now had the account number sent to me by Orange Connect support and would rather pay before they charge another EUR 40 in late fees. I’m very disappointed with this procedure.
