Hello dear experts,
Maybe someone can help me here. I successfully shipped a sold item to the address provided by eBay. Because of a complaint, the buyer would like to send the item back. However, he does not accept returns via Hermes or DHL, since he is located in another EU country. He now wants me to send him the shipping costs in advance via PayPal so that he can arrange the shipment. Am I, as the seller, obliged to accept this? Thank you very much for your feedback.

Mentor2 months ago@olschwe-35 Good evening. 🙂 Since you sent the item to a German address, you כמובן do not have to cover the costs for return shipping abroad. I have already contacted your buyer and informed them that the costs for international return shipping must be borne by them.

Mentor2 months agoWenn du an eine deutsche Lieferadresse verschickt hast musst du nicht den Rückversand aus dem Ausland tragen sondern maximal den Rückversand von der deutschen Adresse zu dir.

hast Du wirklich an eine deutsche Adresse verschickt und der Käufer hat den Versand ins Ausland selbst organisiert?
Dann ist die Transaktion vom Käuferschutz ausgeschlossen.
