Shipping label was charged too many times
Summary: hagbarseline reported that when they tried to buy a shipping label through eBay, they were charged six times, even though the label could not be created. In the end, they had to buy the label through the DHL website. eBay customer service was unable to help, although an email about a technical issue was received. perfect-sally confirmed that this is a known issue and that eBay will refund the charges, although it may take a few days.
Hello everyone,
so I sold something and wanted to buy a shipping label as usual. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. eBay gave me an error message. I tried again with the same result. After the 6th time I gave up and went to the DHL site and bought a label there.
Now I can see in the transaction activity that the amount was actually charged 6 times, even though I never got the label. What crap.
How do I get my money back. Unfortunately, eBay customer service is total crap and no one can give me an answer.
Interestingly, I got an email from eBay with the subject: Technical problem when purchasing an eBay shipping label.
Has anyone else here ever experienced this?

Mentor2 weeks agoQuite a few people have experienced this, and the last message from ebay was that the costs will be reimbursed if the labels cannot be created and printed. However, it will take a few days.
