Expand shipping option from Germany to the EU for a discontinued item
How can I change the shipping option "Germany" on one of my listed items to shipping option "EU"? I want to be able to ship the item to Italy.

Mentor1 week agoIf bids or an active price suggestion are present, nothing can be changed.
And if I were a private seller, I would also think very carefully about whether I would ship abroad if I don't want to lose both money and goods.

OP1 week agoThank you very much! So far nothing had happened to me with international shipping. That’s why I was surprised that Ebay obviously set that up themselves.
What problems could there be if the goods and shipping were paid for in advance?

the biggest problem is that if you have issues, you usually have to deal with the customer service of the Ebay site where the buyer is registered, and the terms and conditions there apply. Ebay-DE then usually sits back and relaxes.

Mentor1 week agoEven if the item was paid for and a buyer complains about some minor thing, eBay will take the money back if you don't issue the refund yourself and pay for return shipping. In addition, a defect is added to the account, and as Peter already wrote, the eBay platform where the buyer is registered decides, and ebay.de can't do much to help.
