Shipping options and parcel insurance: what are your experiences?

Hello everyone,I recently sold an item and would now like to ship the package reliably and safely. However, the standard insurance with normal eBay shipping is not enough. I’d like to know how you handle cases like this. Which shipping options do you use to take out higher insurance? I was planning to take the package to the post office, but then I won’t have the eBay transaction history and guarantee. How do I need to change my shipping on eBay regarding the tracking number? Hello, you can't book higher liability for packages via eBay shipping solution; with DHL, it only works via the DHL website. Since there are different valuation classes, please check more carefully. Then enter the tracking number on the item

Hi @specialsecurity for items that exceed the value of 500 euros (DHL parcel liability limit), you can also choose a higher-value shipping method.

Whether you can add that on at a branch, you’d have to ask there — I can’t tell you that.

Possibly you can cancel the current label and create a new one.

Also, it doesn’t matter whether you print it out online or go to the branch; in any case, with parcel shipping you always get a tracking number and then ultimately also have proof of delivery for the buyer later on.
