Delayed processing of purchase price offers

Hello, and this problem has now come up at least for the 3rd time.
Purchase price offers come in from interested parties and are shown to me. For example: the price is 6 euros, the customer suggests 5 euros. In my offer, I have set the price to 5 euros under "Automatically accept". In principle, the system should then immediately show the item as sold. But nothing happens. In one of the cases, it took almost 24 hours before there was any response.
It gets even worse when the customer, to stick with the example, offers 4 euros and I make a counteroffer to him of 5 euros. That then leads to confusion between the interested party and the seller.
The delay is annoying, and because of that I have already had purchase cancellations.
If the customer accepts the purchase price as such, everything is fine.
Are there any tips here? I thank you in advance for any helpful advice.

I don't quite understand what you're getting at and which problem you mean, but eBay changed something with price suggestions some time ago, and the item only counts as actually sold once it's been paid for, and before that you won't see it in your orders.
Maybe that helps you, and if not, tell me a bit more about what doesn't seem to be right.

This is about the following: I receive by email the information from eBay that there is a price offer from an interested buyer. To stick with the example above: my price is 6 euros, the customer wants to pay 5 euros. I have set this amount as Accepted in the offer. That should mean the customer immediately receives the notice that the item has been purchased. Depending on whether he bids on multiple items, he should receive a message from eBay that the goods have been purchased and he can pay. I should get the notification that the goods have been paid for and I can ship them. In theory, anyway.
What's the situation with me? The customer makes a price offer for 2 items, each within the price I accepted. So both are, again theoretically, accepted and sold. But in reality, one item no longer appears and the other is still listed as the customer's offer. If I contact the interested buyer, there is information chaos on their side too. They either get no indication that the item was purchased, or only hours later, etc.
As I said, this crap has happened at least for the third time now and it's really annoying.

OP3 weeks agoOnce again, many thanks for the reply. Around 10 p.m., the notice finally came through that the purchase had been completed. It may well be that the delays are due to changes in eBay’s process. But it remains irritating. And annoying.
