Many observers - but not a single commandment
Summary: A participant initiated a discussion regarding an item listing with many viewers but no bids. Several others responded, though no specific solutions or reasons were discussed.
My question isn’t a real problem, just plain curiosity:
I’ve had the experience several times that listed items had a few watchers (more than many other items), but not a single one of them placed a bid by the end of the bidding period. Can anyone tell me a reason for that?
Of course I don’t expect every watcher to place a bid, but I do find it surprising that quite a lot of people watch, yet in the end nobody bids. Why not?

it could also be that many observers just want to see at what price an item is sold or not sold, because they have similar items to offer.

Mentor2 months agoHello @sweetlittlerabbit ,
maybe you could ask the watchers ?
Just kidding 😉
People put an item on watch, it may be that they forgot, it may also be that they just want to see whether and for how many euros the item was sold.
You did sell a little something. 😊
