"Requirements for eBay Shop subscription not met" – has anyone else received this message yet?
Summary: figunia received a confusing message from eBay stating their Premium-Shop may not meet certain requirements, yet no specific reason was provided. They tried accessing links to find more information but encountered errors. perfect-sally and samantha@ebay responded, with samantha@ebay confirming it's a known issue and they have opened an internal ticket to resolve it. samantha@ebay explained that figunia has been added to this ticket, indicating it's a broader issue affecting multiple sellers.
Hello everyone,
Today I received the attached message directly in my eBay inbox.
I have had the Premium Shop (€299.95) for several months now. eBay is now telling me that supposedly some minimum requirements for my shop subscription level are no longer being met and that my shop will be reviewed again in 60 days.
What’s puzzling me about this:
Under “The following requirements for eBay Shop subscriptions are not met:” nothing is shown at all for me. There is simply no reason listed.
When I click on “Go to My eBay account”, I end up on an error page.
The “minimum requirements” link only takes me to the general eBay help page for opening a shop. There I also can’t find anything explaining which requirement my account supposedly does not meet.
In addition, the message says that my shop would otherwise be downgraded to the “Enterprise Shop subscription level”. That doesn’t mean anything to me either, since at eBay Germany I only know Basic, Top, Premium, and Platinum shops.
My seller/service status is “Top” everywhere, and there are no other defects, cases, etc. either.
I’m also not aware of any prior message or review that the “reviewed again” in the message could refer to.
Has anyone here ever received this message and knows what eBay is actually asking for here?
And if not: does anyone know which department or contact person at eBay I should best get in touch with so that someone can tell me specifically which requirement is supposedly not being met?
Thanks!

OP3 weeks agoHello @samantha@ebay ,
thank you very much for the feedback.
What exactly does it mean that there is already an “open ticket” on the topic and that you added me to it?
Is this an internal ticket at eBay for a technical problem already known, which other sellers are also affected by?
Or do you mean a separate chat or section that I was added to and that I can view somewhere?
Thank you very much and best regards,
Daniel
