When is payout after an item without tracking?
I sold an item without tracking. The buyer has confirmed in writing that it arrived, but doesn’t want to leave me a rating...
The item is still showing in my system as not delivered and the amount is being held. According to eBay, the money is paid out to new members after 14 calendar days. That time is up today and I still haven’t received the money. Does anyone know how this works?

My bank account is verified, and I’ve already made a payment too. Since the item wasn’t very high quality, I wanted to keep the shipping costs as low as possible.

Mentor3 weeks agoYeah, I can understand that @kako2801 but if a buyer reports an item as not received, buyer protection kicks in and you lose both your money and the goods.

Mentor3 weeks agoNeither a confirmation nor even a rating necessarily speeds up the payout time; moreover, this was your first sale, I hope your bank account is already verified by ebay.

Mentor3 weeks agoHey @kako2801 it’s not just the tracking number that counts, but what ultimately matters is proof of delivery, and you don’t have that.
So the payout is delayed; it can take up to 30 days.
Why are you voluntarily giving up your seller protection offered by eBay?

Mentor3 weeks agoHey @kako2801
take a look here to see how Ebay handles payment holds:
New or occasional business sellers usually receive their funds within 31 days while they can familiarize themselves with proven selling practices.
New or occasional private sellers can find more information about when the funds in their eBay balance will be available on the page Payouts for sold items.
For previously restricted or suspended sellers, payments at the transaction level are held for the first 30 days after the restriction or suspension is lifted, until confirmation is received that the items were actually delivered.
High-value items can result in transaction-level payment holds of up to 31 days. This is to make sure buyers don’t have any issues with the order.
Unusual selling patterns can lead to transaction-level payment holds, where funds are usually available 2 days after delivery confirmation or within 31 days after the buyer’s payment.
A strong increase in order volume can lead to transaction-level payment holds, where funds are usually available 2 days after delivery confirmation or within 31 days after the buyer’s payment.
Authenticity verification can lead to transaction-level payment holds of usually up to 31 days, as long as the authenticity of items sold with eBay Authenticity Guarantee has not yet been confirmed.
Best wishes from the Baltic Sea
