Why does the Mastercard preauthorization not match the total amount of the order?
Hello,
I placed an order with a total amount of: 25.85 EUR
but on my Mastercard statement I see a pre-authorization in the amount of 36.55 EUR.
What is the reason for this?

Thanks a lot for your post!
You bought two items. One for 25.85 EUR and a second one for 10.70 EUR. The authorization refers to the total amount of both orders. You can also see that in the "Purchase details". 😊

If you mention the item no., an eBay employee can take a look at it.
