Why doesn't Ebay help?

Question

I was ripped off by a seller. He shipped an item I bought from him under a false name and without an exact address.

The tracking was manipulated so that this item was marked as delivered to me. Ebay doesn’t get it and rejected my appeal.

It’s only about 12.97 euros for me, but maybe this is the start of a bigger scam.

My bad review of the seller has also disappeared.

Thanks for your post. I’ve gladly checked the details for you. There is no case of fraud here. The seller demonstrably made an attempted delivery and used the address you provided. According to the DHL tracking, the recipient was initially not there, and afterward the storage period was exceeded. As a result, the item could not be delivered, which led to it being automatically returned to the sender.

I’ll be happy to contact the seller for you regarding the refund and am confident that you’ll get a response very soon.
