Why the heck do I have to pay shipping costs when the seller has already had the package for ages?
Hello, since the seller obviously doesn't understand my communication ... I now want to return the shorts.
There were issues with Deutsche Post.
But now I also have to pay costs for the return even though the package is already back with the seller?

Since the item was not picked up at the shipping company’s branch, we can’t initiate a refund to you on our side and it must therefore be done by your seller. I have gladly contacted your seller and asked them to initiate the refund to you.

The tracking doesn’t really make it clear what problem you seem to be having.
And if this is a normal return in the sense of a withdrawal, then in general the buyer pays for return shipping if the seller hasn’t specified otherwise.

If it still isn't picked up and the storage period has been exceeded, that would be a question for @verena@ebay

OP1 week agoI wasn't there, so the courier just took it to a parcel locker. I never have anything in there, never signed up for it or set anything up.
So it went back.
So it's still with the seller and I'm just exercising my right to return it (without giving a reason)
And because it's already been returned. No costs

if a delivery driver doesn’t find you and can’t deliver the shipment, it is quite normal for them to leave the shipment for pickup at a branch or parcel locker. You would normally receive a notification about this.
If you don’t respond to that, that’s your problem and not one for Ebay or the seller.
Here, in my opinion, you are completely dependent on the seller’s goodwill and can be glad if you even get a partial refund at all.

I would have liked to pick up the package from the branch. Unfortunately, I can’t pick it up from a parcel locker. For that reason, I’ve already opened a case with the post office for a “second delivery to the post branch.” Obviously that went wrong.
That’s the only reason I’m here.
If Ebay didn’t want to unnecessarily charge me fees for the return shipping, I wouldn’t be here either. Otherwise, the case is closed for me.
1) the seller has the package
2) the seller could reverse the purchase, but doesn’t because there’s no request for it
3) just because I see it that way, it doesn’t work, and I’m asking the community for advice to maybe still get my point across ...
4) otherwise what am I paying money for?
