Bought a pretty crappy item unintentionally because of a price suggestion.

On to the story.
About a little over 2 weeks ago, I was looking for a sleeping bag.
While searching, I had also clicked on some less good sleeping bags.
Once, and even twice, on a certain one because it was somehow weird. But when I clicked it a third time just to make sure, eBay’s cookie must have registered that too, of course.
The bag was not one of my favorites and wasn’t even anywhere near my shopping list on my eBay.
During that time I had also looked at other things and there were auctions too. I also placed a bid on one.
The stupid thing is, the next morning I got up, turned on the computer, and all I see in the messages is that I hadn’t won, but I had still received a price suggestion. Huh, I first thought, not won but still got a price suggestion.
I accepted the thing and paid.
A day later I check again, item already shipped, huhhhhh that’s not the one I wanted at all. I was totally pissed and googled it.
I’m by no means the only one in Eta who got tricked like that. Yes, that’s what I’m calling it because that’s how I feel! The thing is of course junk. It was literally just a rolled-up picture and only 1 word in the description. "sleeping bag"
It could only have been junk. That’s why I never even considered it.
In any case, I’m angry. I was misled by a price suggestion from eBay. Since legally the seller didn’t make a mistake and, fairly said, there is also no damage,
I can’t cancel the item.
So then I deleted all the checkmarks in my eBay settings regarding receiving price suggestions. I’m now going to keep focusing mentally on switching more to other platforms.
eBay is no longer what I got to know around 2001.
If eBay reads this, I’d be happy about a credit. That would help my frustration fade sooner. But it would still keep me alert for the future. The price wasn’t the end of the world either. I can take it, but the frustration lasts a while!!!

You only think that. But fine, what else is there to argue against if you don't want to look behind the wall. I knew I wouldn't find any connection here. Go on living in your world full of pink clouds and flowers on every corner. What do you think why the function "price suggestion" was invented? To do you some good! :-)

Unwanted price offers have to be accepted, otherwise no purchase takes place ‼️ Ergo, the mistake was on your side, nobody else can accept price offers.
There is no scam.
So why should eBay give you a credit because you made a mistake?

What annoys me is only that I was sent a price suggestion for an article that was rubbish. It wasn’t even on the watchlist. I’d understand it if you got one from there, but from rubbish !!!
