How can I mark the item as "received" without tracking?

Hi, I received an item today that I ordered 2 days ago by post. The seller did not provide a tracking number, as the item was sent in a simple envelope. How can I now confirm that I have received the item so that the seller gets their money?

If the seller ships without tracking, then in case of doubt he just has to wait longer for his money.
