How can I return an item if I’ve opened a case?
How can I return an item if I’ve opened a case? The item arrived late and I don’t need it anymore. To return the item, I’m supposed to delete the case. I couldn’t find a link to personal customer service, but AI mode says I definitely shouldn’t delete the case, because after that eBay would no longer offer any service for it. How do I get my return label?

OP3 weeks agoAfter a long search, I found the link and have now personally contacted an employee. They closed the case, so I can now return the item normally.

OP3 weeks agoI have ebay-plus. You get panic when ebay decides in favor of the seller and that becomes ebay, since the item has since arrived. (Steering gear €200 and €90 deposit for the old part)

This time the AI is actually right for a change. Definitely don’t close the case, because then it’s game over.
The seller should send you the return label. Though I don’t know how it works with a return if it was delivered too late. I’m sure someone else will come along who can tell you that.
