This really can’t be right!
The specialist department is writing to me via "Messages" about restrictions that have been applied
to my seller account.
The field has a reply button at the top right.
I want to reply at length there. However, the system blocks this
and doesn’t let my reply through.
How can you contact the specialist department in writing?

Mentor5 days agoAs far as I know, you can’t reach a specialist department in writing; those are often just one-way messages that come from there.

As a rule, that's certainly true.
In this message case, however, there was a reply button.
In addition, there were 2 clickable options (copy to my email address and permission to be contacted by Ebay).
I left out these additional clickable options.
That finally made the message/reply go through to customer service.
