How do I return an audiobook that hasn't been downloaded?

Hello, I have the following problem:
I bought an audiobook and overlooked that it can only be downloaded.
Unfortunately, the elderly person I wanted to give the audiobook to as an MP3 cannot use the digital
version. After I noticed that it was the wrong one, I wrote to the seller. The seller did not reply.
I asked eBay for help and got it right away. Now I’m supposed to send the audiobook back, which of course isn’t possible.
Now I’m supposed to state, ideally with tracking, when I sent the item back.
The AI assistant doesn’t understand my concern. Unfortunately.
Now I’m at a loss. In other words, am I being dense?

As @oskar_der_wikinger has already written, digital items are generally not covered by buyer protection. Here I can see that you will still get your refund. The amount will arrive shortly. So you don't need to take care of anything else.

maybe @anna_s@ebay can take another look at the issue.
With digital items, you usually have neither a right of withdrawal nor are they covered by buyer protection.
Read, read, read before clicking buy.
