Repeated blocking of offers
Summary: sneak11 reports that an eBay listing is repeatedly being blocked, even though the stated reasons are not accurate. Each time he gets a message that the item can be relisted, after which it gets blocked again. bootyooty suspects that the listing may contain links to external websites, which is not allowed. sneak11 explains that it is a music album whose name may be interpreted as a link, but it’s unclear why other users can list their items without any problems. turbotuentchen suggests that the issue could be in the mobile view, since the name is automatically turned into an active link.
I once posted an item for sale in episode 3 that was blocked by eBay with the reason: "Policy on purchases and sales outside of eBay".
None of the prohibited reasons listed there apply. After each complaint from me, I receive an email saying that the item can be listed again.
After I have done that, it gets blocked again with the same reason. This has now happened 3 times in a row and no one can tell me what is wrong with the listing.
That can't be normal

OP1 week agoI’ve now blacked out all the photos at the cover positions and left out the correct title in the listing. Now it fits. Thanks to the community

Maybe it was a direct link to the Marillion page, and that just isn't allowed.

OP1 week agobut how did the other users manage that, they have the same line in their offer

Mentor1 week ago@sneak11 I can't explain it to you, I don't know your offer.

Mentor1 week agoCould it maybe be the device? When I enter marillion.com in the mobile view, it is automatically displayed as an active link. Hold your finger on it, then tap Edit and click the crossed-out paperclip.

Mentor1 week ago@sneak11 are there any links to manufacturer, product, or other sites in the listing? That's not allowed, remove them and then create a new listing, don't just relist the old one

OP1 week agoIt's about the Marillion music album. This album is called "marillion.com". Exactly this album is currently also listed on eBay by other users as an offer right now. This misinterpretation would be the only issue with the listing, but that can't be right either. Best regards
