why was my username changed from craftsmen22 to craft_3667 and my 1000 good ratings are gone too.

I've been registered on ebay with craftsmen22 for over 10 years, but recently ebay has been listing me as craft_3667, and my 1000 good ratings are gone too. I want to have my old name back.

What’s the right way to go about it?

craft_3667 has been around since 2023 and craftsmen22 is still around too.

You already created the account craft_3667 in 2023 - that's not "recently," and besides, you've also received 2 reviews for purchases with it; these date back quite a while and probably come from around the time of registration

You probably logged in via Facebook, Google..etc and thus created a new account. Log in as usual with your correct ebay username and the right password and you're done. You can delete the new account.
