We have detected unusual bidding activity in connection with your eBay account
Summary: tobileu reports that he keeps receiving messages on eBay accusing him of bidding on his own items, which he denies. He is having trouble getting in touch with eBay to sort out this issue. petersmodellbahnstuebchen suggests that tobileu reach out again the next day so that an eBay employee can look into the matter. Another participant, perfect-sally, confirms that an eBay representative will take care of the problem.
For some time now, I’ve been getting, with pretty much every item I list as an auction and when people bid on it, a message implying that I’m bidding on my own items. That is 100% not the case. Reaching anyone at eBay is practically impossible, the AI somehow blocks it; if you ever get that far, then there’s an AI “error message.” It’s starting to really get on my nerves — eBay should please check who this is supposed to be. Lately I’ve listed a lot of trading cards, so there may also have been repeat bidders, but I didn’t see any in a quick check. Could someone at eBay please look into why I’m being spammed with these messages. Thank you very much.

OP1 week agoHi, is this enough for "please check back here tomorrow"?

Mentor1 week agoYes, that's enough. An eBay employee will take a look at your account and get back to you here.
@selina_b@ebay would you be so kind? Thanks
