Wanted to change my IBAN and suddenly I got blocked for no reason

I have a successful account on eBay, today I achieved my first 10 sales per day, wanted to change my IBAN and all of a sudden it says it has now been restricted, call them and verify it so I can be unblocked, so the temporary restriction then I call eBay support right away and get an employee who reads out texts and says I am blocked he cannot do anything what does that mean in the end effect change your IBAN or else you will block yourself and if you get an employee like mine he says he cannot unblock but how is that possible or what are these employees there for if they have no rights if a bug or error temporarily blocks me and the employee cannot unblock I also suggested in advance how can it even be possible also no objection to be overturned I also asked can one do anything department etc but he said and my articles were also all removed I hate it when you get restricted once that the products are also removed not just set inactive but still left online. Please eBay team for help!

OP3 months agoYes, I already called today, but the employee didn’t understand much and hung up. I think he had a lot of customers, maybe on hold, so he wanted to wrap everything up quickly. But I’ll call again tomorrow. If it still doesn’t work, I’ll look for help from you, since I can see that the community here is really concerned and helps out. 🙏

Mentor3 months agoBut if the eBay employee writes that only phone verification is possible, then unfortunately we can't help you here.
Unfortunately, you'll have to deal with the phone jokers, but maybe you'll catch someone who understands the situation.

You had sold ten items; those weren't different items, those were the same items ten times.

OP3 months agobecause I linked it to my Wise Bank but I didn't want to use it anymore because I am currently with Revolut Bank and want to stay there. 👍 And yes yes it was the same product from 3 customers today.

Mentor3 months agoThe bank account must be direct debit capable and be a German account, because you're registered in Germany, @novex.dealz .
And if, after three out of ten sales, you think you need to verify a new bank account with eBay or want to ( why at all ? ) , then eBay gets suspicious.
Years ago I changed banks.
I entered the bank details on eBay and for that time, until eBay has the current bank details, I simply didn't list anything.
And if I change banks again, I'll do it the same way.

OP3 months agothe IBAN is direct debit capable it's also a DE IBAN so for Germany and the other questions below I didn't understand anything

OP3 months agoThanks for the legal lecture, but my sales activity is currently private. The username was simply chosen so as not to come across like a typical generic account; there's nothing more to it than that. If that changes in the future, I would of course correctly change my account to business on eBay. However, this thread is about the problem with the IBAN change or the current restriction caused by a system error, but thanks for your concern anyway. 👍

Your offer is already commercial - there is no trial phase in this regard to see whether an item is sellable at whatever price
