Wrong tracking number for return - where can I correct it?
Hello everyone, I received an item that was damaged, and the seller accepted the return. However, when entering the tracking number, I accidentally made a typo. Where and how can I update it with the correct tracking number?
I'd love to hear your experiences and advice! 😊

Mentor2 weeks agoYou can't update / change that yourself. The only thing you can do is send the correct tracking number to the seller by message, and if they don't refund within 2 days of receipt, contact customer service.

OP2 weeks agoThank you very much, that’s really extremely unfortunate. I don’t see any way to contact customer service at all, only AI assistants that can’t help me any further.

Mentor2 weeks agoYou have to message the bot several times with employee or callback, at some point it gets it.
And eBay also has a legal notice where you can find contact options.
But as I said, you only need to make contact once the item is back with the seller and they have not refunded it within the next 2 days after receipt.

OP2 weeks agoOk, the article IS actually already with VK, I had sent it in beforehand. But I asked again now, with a deadline until the end of the week, for a refund. Let’s see. Anyway, thanks.

Can you not add another tracking number there, like with regular shipping?

As far as I know, within a return you can’t correct anything yourself anymore for quite some time now. That’s why we always had to ask the staff for help beforehand.
