Withhold payment despite delivery?
helloo,
I sold something on 20/8 and then yesterday I happened to see that it’s still marked as „not delivered - payment withheld“.
I then contacted the buyer, who assured me that the item has been with him since 03/09 and that it also has no defects etc.
why hasn’t this updated in 10 days? or how do I contact eBay myself?

how did you send it then? With tracking and the tracking number entered on eBay?

honestly, I don't know where I see that :D
it was just a parcel shipment but I wouldn't know anything about a tracking number etc… I've always done it like this and it worked otherwise…

Mentor1 month agoParcel shipments do not have a tracking number, and without proof of shipment and delivery it can take up to 30 days before payment is made.

As @perfect-sally already wrote to you, with a parcel shipment you don't have proof of delivery and therefore no seller protection. Now you'll just have to be patient for up to 30 days for the payout, as long as no further problems come up.
If you're unlucky, you'll also get a defect on the account, since you can't prove timely shipping.
