Hello everyone!
I've been selling since 2022 and there were never any problems, yesterday I got the message that the payment is being held until 29.09
I just received the notification that my payment will be held until 29.09.
So far there have never been any problems. And the reason given was that I haven't been around that long and haven't sold that often (only around 400-500 sales and purchases)
Support said I’m already the 15th and that there seems to be a problem
That made me curious how other members deal with situations like this.
What experiences have you had with delayed payments on eBay? How do you handle them, and do you have any tips to avoid such situations or deal with them better?
Has eBay unleashed a new AI tool on eBay users.

Mentor1 month agoThere are items where eBay, or rather probably the AI, weighs the risk of whether the specific item is prone to complaints. eBay calls that risk assessment, and then it’s simply withheld at first.

Mentor1 month agoI read that somewhere too, but you shouldn't believe everything the phone jokers say; they like to tell people what they want to hear.
But this has been dragging on for quite a while now, and even long-time commercial sellers are suddenly affected, and nobody says what it's actually like and gives any reasons at all.
If there really is another bug, like there are quite a few at the moment, then I hope the error is found quickly and fixed. Ebay likes to say: it's being worked on with high pressure 😉

And yes, on the MhM board only the thread starter, mentors, and eBay employees can write.
