Hello, the heading basically already says it: A buyer from Italy has so far made me the best purchase price offer for a collectible made of paper/cardboard (350 euros, after I had already mutually cancelled the higher bids from the USA because of the customs risk.)I then, after receiving payment immediately via eBay payment processing, did not report back to the buyer with shipping confirmation right away the next day, since I had stated a processing time of 2 days in the shipping description anyway.After the Italian buyer had already verbally pressured me to ship within 1 day, he then also went off in chat, called the "police" (?) and opened a payment dispute (as far as I understand, with a "payment service provider" like PayPal / credit card? blah) and called me a fraudster. Now my question:eBay gives me five calendar days (including the weekend) to respond, for possible "seller protection"The pure shipping proof probably isn't enough, right?So I probably need proof of receipt?But that will be impossible within the 3 remaining days (after the weekend) !Does that mean I can't ship at all now. Or can I? My idea would be to challenge the dispute purely logically, that I didn't do anything wrong, and that the accusation of fraud is completely untenable, with the proof being that the processing time of 2 business days had not even expired, so I therefore had not yet shipped it and logically there can also be no proof of receipt!Of course I can only ship now once the dispute has been decided.Because otherwise I will probably end up with no money and no goods.Right?This is a damned self-fulfilling prophecy, since I do intend to ship it, but because of the accusation with the dispute, I can no longer ship now. Does that mean I am now a fraudster?That is a shame, since there probably is no way to establish trust on both sides here.The buyer's eBay ratings actually look clean. The eBay registration address matches the shipping address. I would gladly like to complete the deal (and it's tempting because of the bid)But in this situation it seems no longer possible.Well, but what innocent buyer would also open a payment dispute after 1 business day?And to top it all off, I now end up looking like the fool. I also find it disturbing that the payment amount is still credited to my eBay account and I therefore feel pressured to ship the item, although eBay should actually be clear (why not automatically?) that I will not be able to provide proof of receipt from Italy within 3 days and that the money will therefore probably be clawed back by the "payment service provider".
